Steven Weaver '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Steven Weaver and I am 17 years old. I live in Charleston, South Carolina and I attend Bishop England High School. I am 5'11 and weigh 160 lbs. I train at Creekside Academy and my coaches are Or Dekel and Omer Abramovich. I have been on my high school varsity team all three years of high school. I was captain this past junior year. All three years we have won our region and we went undefeated this past season, but we have lost two of those years in the Lower State Finals and this past year in the second round of the playoffs. I am an extremely, hard worker and try to improve my game everyday. I am currently working on my volleys and transition game. I just finished the 16s age division in May ranked 45 in the south. It was my best ranking of my career. I am a 3 star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net and have reached a year high of 287, which is my personal best since 2007. In my situation my family has financial need. My family has been in a financial situation throughout my tennis. We had a house fire in early December 2010 and it was a total loss, but we have been very positive and we thank God everyday that we are alive. I assure that I will be a great addition to any college team, and strive everyday to help and benefit the team. God Bless!
