Bo Brynteson '12 Recruiting Profile

The biggest enemy of great is good. There are always skills to improve on and room for growth. I push myself to get better at every task I am given. If I get a B, I want an A. If I get an A, I ask for extra credit. Once I've successfully completed something, I like to go back and reflect on how I could've made it better. I am 5 ft. 10 in. tall. I weigh about 160 lbs. I played 2 doubles as a freshman at Greeley West High School and I earned second place at Regionals, allowing me to go to State. Although I didn't earn a spot on the podium, I learned alot and was happy to be there. This year, as a sophomore, I played 1 doubles, won Regionals, once again sending me to to the 4A State Tournament, where I earned the fourth place title. Outside of the high school season, I compete in USTA tournaments in the Intermountain region. Last year was my first year of tournaments. I learned valuable skills, including, the importance of mental and emotional stability, consistant play, and recognizing how to change my game according to my opponents weaknesses. I am currently ranked 49 in Colorado and 112 in the Intermountain region. In college, I want to major in some form of art. I am thinking of architecture or industrial design. I would like to go college on the east or west coast, but considering I am only a sopohmore, I am open to all the possibilities.
