Reece Cato '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Reece Cato and I’m a rising senior at West Forsyth High School in Cumming Georgia. I’m pursuing a college opportunity that benefits both my academic and athletic career goals.

Being a student athlete within both XC and Track has truly helped me in continuing to achieve my academic objectives. My Cross Country and Track teams have provided many lessons throughout my high school career thus far. By being a teammate I have learned about commitment and responsibility and that has helped me become a stronger student throughout.

I’m very fortunate to be part of a winning team. Coming in 4th as a Team and Placing 15th individually at the 2018 State XC Championship has been one highlight of my high school athletic career thus far. It was a great experience that has strengthen our team providing re-focus and commitment for team and myself. Also very proud to be named TOP PERFORMER for West Forsyth High School in Track and Field for 2019. Also nominated for STUDENT- ATHLETE OF THE MONTH in September for West Forsyth High School in 2019.

I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on a XC & Track program, plus School. As a two-sport athlete and 3 year letterman thus far, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team – A leader with Team Spirt.
