2021 Gwinnett Cou...Personal Statement
I am blessed to have a great team around me where we finished sixth place at the state cross country meet this past year. I believe that I have the talent, grades, character, and work-ethic to compete at the collegiate level. I have run track and cross country for the past 4 years, and have put maximum time and effort into these programs at Mill Creek High School in order to make sure the team and my performance is the best it can be at all times.
One of my favorite memories from the past 4 years is competing in the Gwinnett County Varsity open 800 final this year, where I took home first place. This was a major achievement for me and my team as I was the first distance runner in 8 years to win a county event from our school and earn all-county honors.
