Talon Rowland '24 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to the best I can be, I work hard on and off the track. I love the sport of track and I look forward to having a future in it at the collegiate level. Ever since I was little I've loved to run everywhere. Whether it was to a practice or just for fun, running has always set well with me. As middle school started, I wasn't as fast as everyone else, so I took up long distance. I wasn't too bad at it and it inspired me to run and do even more. Eventually, going into my 10th grade year I started to get faster and work on my weaknesses more and realized I had the potential to be a sprinter. Having what I like to call, leftover endurance from my distance days, my 400 and 600 times continue to accel on the track. I love learning about the sport and everything it has taught me!
