Personal Statement

Becoming a collegiate athlete and competing at the collegiate level has always been one of my greatest dreams since I was 5 years old.  In addition, I've always dreamed of being successful both in life and at school. I've worked on helping to make this a reality through both my work ethic and mental toughness to keep pushing through thick and thin. My principles of perseverance, integrity, servitude, and effort in all that I do whether on academics or XC and Track is what separates me from other athletes out there.  I work great as a group member on the team because I demonstrate qualities of leadership through the way I talk to teammates and the level of commitment to the Track and XC teams at my high school. I've maintained a very high level of academic performance and as a result, I was inducted into the National Honor Society and even received the Presidential Education Award for Academic Excellence. Furthermore, on my AP exams for AP World History and AP Human Geography I earned a 5 on both and a 3 on my AP Seminar exam.  My collegiate goals are to compete regularly at whatever program I attend and to train at a consistently high level.  Finally, I would like to add that I have set up an account with the NCAA eligibility center and the NAIA eligibility center as well. Thank you for your time and consideration.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
