Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Kevin Dietrich and my goal is to get to a competitive school that fits my education and also my athletc ability. I do my best to win each and every meet I compete in. If i don't win then it is okay because it will only make me better. You must fall in order to rise in my opinion. If I change my dream into a reality i would love to give back and help my family. They have always been there for me and now its time for me to do a favor for them. Outiside of track i am also doing very well in school and out. I never missed a day of school since Pre-K and I have the awards to prove it. I believe if I just miss one day of school I will be behind others and will miss out on the teaching. Everytime when im outside of school i am representing  PN-G. I make the right decisions and I don't do anything that could hurt my future. Going into my senior year I will be on varsity cross-country and Track four times each. I've been the best distance runner on the C-C and track team since I've been a freshman and have been leading each team with my great attitude, discipline, and leadership. I knew coming into my freshmen year that I had to lead with example because teammates will follow what the leader does. I set goals every meet like i did in middle school which i succeeded in all of them and became the 10-0 District Champion in the 1600m and the 2400m run. I love to make my family and others proud eveytime I a step foot off the track. I take practice serious like i do in my meets. I also play football and played baseball for ten years, but Cross-Country and track are my main sports.
When i make great victories on the track i don't want to be too satisfied because you should always want more and to be better than the person you were before. I also like to set records in high school like my dad did back in his days. I will and always represent the name on my chest and not the one on my back because every sport I play is a team effort. On the last curve i make myself the fastest peson on the track. Even if no one is near me i like to sprint with all i got and leave everything that i have on the track and grass. I want to leave a great impression every time I leave the visitor's home so I can make sure they will remember me. Effort is the key thing in not just sports, but in just about everything you do in life because if you don't have what it takes your chances of you accomplishing your dreams are not very good. When i step foot on that track i want to be the best person coming off mentally and also physically. Each track meet i say to myself that im 0-0 right now and lets change that. Im also a confirmed Catholic at St. Elizabeth Church and I believe with God all things are possible! Just want to thank him for giving me the gift to run! I was also involved with The Boy Scouts of America which will become a great asset to me now and the future ahead!
I believe that I would bring great work ethic to you and your program on a consistent basic every single day. I would make a great fit in your team's success and I will also carry the honor, pride and tradition along the way. Im also very humbled in what I do so if I make a good time I will not be happy for long. I will always want more and will continue the hunger for success every single meet. I will feed off the negative energy off the track and use it to my advantage when I compete. I will and always show great sportsmanship after the race is over. Its my job to pick up my teammates after they ran their heart out and they will continue to look up to me for leadership. If you are interested in me or would like to recruit me you will never regret it! WILL provide the success your team needs in the years to come for sure! I hope that you had a good look of my profile and I would also like to thank for your consideration!

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
