My name is Michael Gesese-Elsenpeter, my dream is to have an opportunity to compete in track & field at the next level. I was an orphan in Ethiopia for 10 years, before being adopted by a family in Kentucky, but after a year with them, they decided it just wasn’t a good fit, and so I was taken in by my legal guardians Karen & Tim Elsenpeter. Karen & Tim have been everything & more to me & I just want to make them proud more than anything in the world. My past experiences have shaped me to be mentally & physically tough, determined, extremely coachable, and I always strive to be the hardest worker in the room.
