Jase Burton '25 Recruiting Profile

I am Jase Burton a current student at Star Valley High School. I have dreams of running collegiately and I am a hard worker, but every recruiter looks for "hard workers." I learned to work from my dad. I work for my Dad's concrete business which was handed down from his dad. I have failed so many times at so many different things that I know what it takes to be a "hard worker." I don't find school super challenging, I am naturally good at learning and I really enjoy it. I care  a lot about my religion, family, and finding joy in my life. There is so much more than just running and being faster than everyone else which is what sets me apart from anyone else. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a tender-hearted person who cares deeply for other people and their happiness. I'm far from perfect, but I strive to be the best person I can be. Considering me to be a part of your program would make the little 9-year-old Jase who had just started his running journey so excited for the future of wherever I end up.   :)
