Personal Statement
Having a father who played throughout highschool and at the University of Pacific, Water Polo soon became my calling. My mother also came from an athletic background, being a professional Ice Skater. I would want nothing more than to play Water Polo at the collegiate level. Although only weighing 175 lbs and being 5'11'', I use my size to my advantage. Being speedy and keeping my head on a swivel, I see opportunities to steal, assist, and score constantly. This past season (Junior Year), I became the second all-time assist leader with 64 assists and led the team with 68 steals. I am a defensive minded athlete, although being a key player on the offensive end as well. Winning two championships in the North Coast Section, playing in high level games is second nature. Being involved in 680 Water Polo Club for 7 years has also aided me in becoming a stronger player and a better team mate. From participating in leadership and being a water polo captain, I have the ability to be cooperative, be assertive, and be dedicated. I have no preferance where I would like to play, but a bigger school would fit my personality well. Finantial aid would tremendously help my family, as I have a sister who also plays athletics at a high level as well. My ultimate goal is to play water polo at the college level. Whether it be D1, D2, D3, or at a Junior College, I know I would have a strong and possitive impact on the team, as well as being an essential roleplayer for any college.
