Abigail Cruz '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Abigail Cruz, and I am currently a catcher for Athletics Mercado Hovermale 16u.  I am 16 years old and am a part of the graduate class of 2023. I am also the starting catcher for Varsity softball at Santiago High School. I am constantly working hard to improve and be a better player. This year, I was ranked #91 in Extra Inning’s Hot 100. I have a 4.0 GPA, and am very dedicated to succeeding both academically, as well as in softball. I manage and balance my time between softball, school, and my business. I breed and raise mini pigs as a small business, which has helped me learn a lot about animals and economics. When I am not in school, I work with my mom in her mobile dog grooming business. I plan to major in biology, and pursue a career as a Veterinarian.
