Makayla Middleton '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Makayla Middleton and I’m a 2021 pitcher and outfielder. I practice and work hard on softball every day, I am a truly dedicated student and athlete. One thing that is different about me compared to other players is I love pressure, I am at my best when something is on the line. I set a goal and I accomplish that goal. My motto when I play is "play every game like it's your last."

I have always wanted to play softball in college, and I am willing to play anywhere as long as I get to continue my passion. My dad inspired me to play softball, sadly he unexpectedly passed away in 2018. I want to continue to make my dad proud by doing what makes me happy. No matter what, I always have a smile on my face. I am a very positive and happy person, I love and support my teammates no matter what.  I take criticism well and I work well under any type of coaching style.

Although I am from sunny California, I am not opposed to venturing out and experiencing new places and new people. The location of the school doesn't matter to me, but I am looking for a school with over 1,000 students and would like to major in Psychology.
