Hello, My name is Logan Brown, I am a 2022 graduate of Thunder Basin High School in Gillette, WY! I played 2 years of rec league prior to starting travel ball at 10 years old. I have now played competitive ball for the last 6 seasons with Wicked 307. The spring of 2021 was the first year Wyoming High School Activities Association sanctioned softball as a high school sport, it was so exciting to be a part of this! Along with playing softball for all these years I also played volleyball and basketball through my sophomore year.
I believe that being a good teammate means that you are always uplifting to your teammates not only on the field but off as well, you need to lead by example and be a role model at all times. I believe you must hold yourself & teammates accountable. I am very coach-able and I always strive to learn from my mistakes. I have played and tried to learn multiple positions other than 1st base, as my team has needed: outfield, 2nd base, and catcher.
Softball has also taught me many things about the meaning of being a part of your community. I have participated in many community service acts not only with my Wicked 307 team but also with National Art Honor Society. I plan to earn a degree in art education.
I am excited to be on this journey to find the right school where I am able to continue my softball career and pursue my Art Education degree!
Thank you for your time and consideration.
