Ever since I started playing competitively in fourth grade, I was the underdog on the team; the youngest, the smallest, the least skilled. But my advantages were found in my attitude, work ethic, and basketball IQ. I’ve always been the one who goes the extra mile, who touches on the other side of the line instead of just tapping it, the one who runs with the losing team in practice even if my team won. I take pride in having a good attitude and moving past my mistakes. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help my team get the win, and I love helping my teammates shine. I always strive to be my best both athletically and academically.
