My goal is to graduate high school with a 4.0 or higher GPA, with a scholarship for basketball. Right now, my options are wide open to what size of university I want to attend, and whether it is out of my home state or not. So I have many doors open right now, but as far as goals go, my collegiate, athletic goal, would be, to work and eventually become the starting point guard that can lead the team under any circumstance. When facing adversity, it is the team leader's responsibility to hold the team together. I want to be that team leader. If a teammate falls, I'll pick them up. If Coach is having a rough day, "Hey it's okay Coach, we got it." I believe I am an outstanding candidate for your team because I am that kind of leader, on and off the court. I am very competitive and aggressive, I love to be pushed to my limit, and most of all, I have a tremendous amount of heart! I am a positive and open minded person that sets extraordinary goals and always wants to know how I can improve. Academically, I am a consistent, focused student. I have always maintained a 3.8 GPA or higher since grade school. I respect my teachers and peers just like I respect my coaches and teammates. Even in the classroom I lead the best that I can by making sure everyone understands what has to be done or making sure nobody needs help. Based on the last three years of my personal growth and development, I am convinced that when I end my high school career, I will be ready to face my future head on and will be an asset to your University.
