Diara Parsons '22 Recruiting Profile

I am teachable, humble, respectful , hard working and a true  believer in putting in the extra time efforts  for the greater good of my team.  I always communicate with my teammates on and off of the court for the purpose of showing supporting and comradery.  This team sport of basketball has taught  me to be an unselfish but still a defensive player of which I love!   Even if I may miss a shot or turn the ball over, it is my aim to get back on defense.  Parallel to my personal  and athletic growth is my move from a tiny Caribbean US Virgin Island to the mainland . From a place of quiet keeping  and reservation and 8 games a season , I progressed to team captain for two consecutive years and MVP in 2019-2020 academic year at IMG.  I have truly benefited and will continue to evolve as the whole basketball athlete.
