Ausiana Laguerre '21 Recruiting Profile

I am Ausiana Marisol Laguerre. For as long as I can remember I have played basketball, and my experience has been broadened in playing four years at the varsity level for my high school basketball team. I have been blessed to be apart of an amazing program, making memories, and giving my all to my team every chance I receive. 

Outside of basketball, my academics are a huge part of what makes me... well me. Over my high school career I have worked hard to earn a spot graduating in the top five percent of my class. Being involved in different clubs and organizations on campus while also feeding back into my community. It would be a dream to carry these opportunities as I move forward into the next chapter of my life, being college. Being apart of a school that academically driving their students to pursue future success, and being apart of a top tier basketball program are ideal to me when I think of my dream school.

I have the ability to adjust to any situation given to me while continually to grow consistently. Others would describe my character as being the attribute that will take me places further than my brain can imagine. Through it all anyone can vouch I will keep my smile shining, staying positive, listening to critique, and being a leader to those who surround me. These characteristics are what aided me to grow each season leading up, but not ending, at starting my senior season as my high school team's captain.

There are many memorable moments that have already been made, and as I move into my collegiate career I plan on making more moments that will be remembered for a lifetime.
