Playing against better and more athletic teams my freshman year hit me hard. I feel like I grew more as a student athlete this year which is my junior year because I know how the competition is and I know you have to work hard and even harder to beat some of these teams. I started playing basketball when I was five and it has really helped me find out who I am because it keeps me out of trouble, teaches me things such as responsibility, loyalty, honesty, dedication, and being a team player.
In the past I have struggled with making friends and being picked on but with basketball it really changed that. I can be myself and when I play because it’s me and my team and I know they will always have my back and I will always have there’s. I want to go to college to be a Physical Therapist and the reason for that is, when I was in 8th grade I messed my ankle up and when I went to the doctor it really got my attention when they knew exactly where the problem was and how It should be treated, another reason is, I love sports so much I just wanna be around them twenty four seven. One more thing about me is, I love helping younger players learn how to develope their skills that will help them succeed in their basketball career in the future.
