Shelby Turner '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be the best player I can be and to play at the next level. I'm a good candidate, I work harder than everyone on my team and have a mindset to want to win and compete. What makes me different than other recruits in my character is I never let anyone on my team give up or get down, whenever I walk into the gym I have a good attitude, a smile on my face, and always ready to work. Growing up on a farm I know what hard work is and I take pride in all I do.  I will carry  on my family's hard work ethic to make your team successful.  Every time I put on your teams jersey, I will wear it with pride and to the best of my ability use my talents to make the coaches, staff, and university proud of their women's basketball teams.  My athletics, I've been a leader, not only in scoring but showing my teammates the right way to act outside of basketball.   Academics for me is an area that I have to work hard at.  It does not come easy for me but I will work just as hard with my schooling as I do on the court.
