Personal Statement
I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. There is nothing I love more than the sound of a basketball bouncing or swishing through the net. I am 5'7", 147 lbs. I have played on my high school team for 5 years and have dressed varsity for four. I played for my middle school team as well as my Kentucky Ice AAU team for two years and at the Kentucky Basketball Association (KBA) throughout elementary school.
As a senior, I have been team captain. I am a very hard worker and very coachable. I never give up, whether we are winning by 50 or losing by 50, I always give my all. I don’t mind to post up the big girl or guard the opposing team’s best player. I fight for every loose ball, and every rebound.
I would love to attend a small college or university where I can focus on my academics and become an elementary school teacher, but I am open to any opportunities that may be available to me. I am open to play anywhere and any position; I just want to play the sport that I love.
