The first time my dad took me to a girls basketball game when I was 5 years old, I knew I belonged on the basketball court and worked hard to get there.
I have started varsity and been team captain since my freshman season. During that time, I’ve learned the value of teamwork, dedication, sacrifice and what it takes to be a leader. These are qualities that are important to succeed in not only sports, but academics and life.
