Personal Statement

I started playing basketball at a very young age and quickly determined that my goal was to play college basketball. It has become my passion and through hard work, and determination, and the love for the game, I have realized that I can achieve this goal.

I feel I would be a great addition to any team for many reasons. Dedication to basketball is my focus, and as a result I am driven to continuously improve my skill level. A devoted athlete always strives to improve and believes that there is room for growth, which makes me the first one on the court and the last one off. This determination and skill is clearly evident in my ball handling skills and my position as a solid defender. My positive attitude and work ethic, along with great leadership skills, would definitely be assets to any college team. I continuously give 110% and am always willing to learn something new. I have that drive and desire to always win. Another good quality is that I am consistent. I know what I want, I have a goal, and I do whatever it takes to achieve it.

I am a very humble person and I try to stay very grounded. I use my time off the court very wisely and focus on my academics, so that I can continue to keep my grades up. My school work is very important, as important as basketball. I try to maintain a balance between both academics and basketball, with the purpose of improving in both. This balance also makes me an excellent candidate for any basketball team. I realize that both are very important and in order to have success in one, I must also have success in the other.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
