Malloree Schurr '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a two-sport athlete (basketball and softball) from Montgomery TX.  I will graduate in 2014.  My grade point average is 5.5938.  I have played both basketball and softball since I was 5 years old and have always had a drive to play at the collegiate level.  As a 5'10 point guard/ centerfielder,  I have been a starting player on varsity in both basketball and softball for three years now.  I was named to First Team All District in basketball as the only Freshman in 2011.  I averaged 17.2 points per game as a Sophomore and received Offensive Player of the Year for my efforts. I averaged 19.5 points per game as a Junior and received Offensive Player of the Year. I was also Academic All District for these two years for my excellent grades. I am a leader on my team.  I am intense in my game and I believe my athletic ability makes me an excellent recruit for any college team seeking  a versatile player. I am presently in line to break the high school scoring record of 1300 points in my three years on varsity.  I have also been a key player at the State level in softball as our team competed and got 2nd last season.  While I love sports, I also believe in being involved in my church and being a leader in Youth as well.  I enjoy serving my community whenever the opportunity arises and I am available.
