Personal Statement

One of the highlights of my golf career was being a member  of my high schools  golf team.   As a freshman, I was able to be a part of the first  team  from Lee Williams High School to compete in the state tournament.   During my sophomore season I improved my state ranking and was awarded first team all section honors.   Being involved in these experiences  have inspired me to work hard and to continue to strive in the sport of golf.  Playing golf has taught me many life skills that I will be able to use throughout my golf career and the rest of my life. Some of these skills include teamwork, dedication, patience, and perseverance. As a student-athlete I set high goals for my self both in the class room and on the golf course. In school I strive to be at the top of my class and keep a 4.0 GPA. My goal after high school is to attend a university. I'm looking for a school that will fit my needs both in sports and academics. I believe that I will be able to contribute character, leadership, and good work- ethic to your team.
