Katherine barnes '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katherine, I am 5'7" I weigh 210 lbs. and I have played golf for about 4 years. Currently I shoot 90's to 100's. My freshman year, I was low medalist at Reagans (5AA) and also went to state. At the end of my freshman year I received an award called the all bi-city. I was on the first team (there are two teams).
My sophomore year I missed low medalist by 3 strokes.  My junior year I did not play school golf but, I did play on the Georgia PGA junior tour however. That year I won the player of the year 2010 award.  I have competed on
Georgia PGA jr. tour for 3 going on 4 years and I have played school golf for 2 years.

What I can offer your team is: perseverance, etiquette, playing experience, leadership, determination, and desire.  Ever since I have picked up a golf club, I have always wanted to play in a higher level of golf.
I show and have perseverance and playing experience, because I have played over 15 PGA jr tour events and countless school ones and have picked up on the ways of golf and behaviors that are appropriate. Also I have picked up on perseverance because I am not the best out there at the current time but I keep trying and I will never give up.
I’m open to all opportunities to further my education and my playing experience.
