Personal Statement

I first took up golf at the end of July 2008 after years of competitive tennis. My freshman campaign (Spring 2011) was my first year of competive golf, and since then have been competing on the IJGT, AJGA, and MetPGA circuits. Though I am relatively new to golf, my game has gotten to a very high level and continues to improve at a fast rate as a result of my strong work ethic and passion for the sport. I am a dedicated and diligent student who loves to learn.  I make a science out of the things that interest me.  Golf is no exception.  While golf is my passion, it's academics must come first.    My professional goals in law and/or finance are rather lofty. I am seeking an academic instution that will give me both the tools I need to succed in the career I choose and the opportunity to play college golf. I posted a swing video using footage from earlier in the season, and since then, have improved my swing much after spending 3 weeks at Hank Haney's junior academy.

While it was her lowest tournament score of the summer season, she was not convinced that it was her best. A better score on an easier course after a steady diet of harder golf courses.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
