***** I HAVE ACCEPTED AN OFFER FROM ********** ***** SETON HILL UNIVERSITY & SIGNED AN NLI *** ******************************************************************** Playing with all boys on a high school golf team has helped me become a stronger golfer. Trying to compete with them has made me want to shoot lower scores. My dedication this past summer has really made me a much better player. Last spring during soccer season, I won the Jay Effross Work Ethic Award. This was important to me because I work as hard as I can at everything I do, and this showed that it was paying off. The past two years, I have also won the Pocono Junior Golf Tour. Last Spring I also set my golf goals. My goal was to shoot in the 80's consistently and that's exactly what I did. I averaged about an 83. My goal is now to play on a college golf team. During the past four years I have brought my love for golf to the high school team. My love for the game shows that I put my best foot forward and try my hardest. I never give up, no matter what. Having experience from playing a lot of golf I know that there is a lot of room for improvement. I know that I am not at the top of my game and want to keep improving. I have looked into several types of schools. The one I enjoy most is one that isn't too big or too small. Although this is the type of school I like the most, I am open to any college that has women's golf. The major that I am highly interested in is the Professional Golf Management Program, but in order to play on a college golf team I know that this major isn't possible. The second major that I like would be Sports Management with a business minor. Although I am interested in these two majors I also like athletic training. As a senior in high school, I am taking First Aid and Athletic Training through my school. My future goals are to play on a college golf team and get an education in a major yet to be determined. My golf goal is to improve my skills. Through determination comes success.
