Golf is a sport unlike any other. It requires more than just the expected skill and mental strategy. I believe golf is a game of discipline that requires honesty, respect, hard work, and self-control. Golf is undeniably hard. So why do I play? Because I accept the challenge. I am determined to work hard and do what it takes to be the best that I can possibly be. I believe that my determination is but one of the many qualities which allows me to be who I am on and off the course. I set reasonable short-term and long-term goals for myself which enables me to continuously make improvements. As Arnold Palmer said "Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated." There is a lot more to golf than what meets the eye. You have to be willing to go above and beyond to be successful in playing the game.
