Josie Oparanaku '22 Recruiting Profile

     In life, I inspire to be the greatest I can be, which includes everything I set out to do. In other words, once I start anything and pursue it, I believe that I will use the fullest of my potential. This creates a drive in me towards any team that I will be chosen for, to continue to strive, desire, and become the best. This is also seen in my academics and how I will always be pushing for a 4.0 or higher gpa (weighted). Lacrosse has been the first sport that allowed me to show all of my strengths to the best of its abilities: speed, power, concentration, and endurance. I fell in love with the sport because of the relationship that is strengthen with every pass, catch, and goal that the ball goes through within each head of the stick in my team. Career wise, I want to reach for the stars and put my passion towards helping society and choosing a medicine rooted path. Thus, no matter what path I take, I truly believe and aspire that I will become great by reaching to be the better than I was yesterday. In all, my character is built upon my strong will and faith that I am able to be the greatest I can be.
