Caitlin White '12 Recruiting Profile

Just finishing the summer lacrosse season I am so excited about all aspects of the sport. I just finished my 3rd season with Relentless Hustle Renegades premier lacrosse club out of Rochester NY. I am a member of the 2012 Black team. This summer we participated in 7 elite tournaments along the northeast coast. At each of the tournaments we made it to the final rounds of play. It was a very exciting season. In addition to club play I also attended two elite lacrosse camps; Syracuse University Nike Team camp and University of Maryland's Rising Juniors Maximum Exposure camp. Although there are so many great memories I have had through lacrosse I'd have to say the one that stands above the rest is from the 2009 summer season when we placed third in the U15 National Tournament in Maryland. It was a great experience to play against so many amazing teams and to experience the bonding required to create a championship team. As a 5'5", 120 lb player I may not standout as a physical threat on the field but I believe my knowledge of the game, ability to see the field, commitment to be a team player, work ethic, positive attitude and determination to succeed make me a leader on and off the field. Although lacrosse is my passion my strong work ethic and determination to excel has overflowed to my academics as well as to my game of soccer. With regards to academics I have always pushed myself by taking advanced classes whenever possible and maintaining a high average. Last year I received the Presidential Scholarship for 8 consecutive semesters on the honor roll. As for soccer I've played on a travel team since I was 8 years old. As a Junior I am starting my second season as a varsity player. Last year our team placed 2nd in the Division V sectionals.
