Personal Statement
I am currently a junior scholarship student-athlete at the University of New Haven and have recently made the decision to transfer. Although UNH is a great institution, I developed a new set of interests after my two years of undergraduate studies and realized that it was not the right fit for me, academically or athletically. I am confident that the experience of carrying two majors, Genetics and Biotechnology, with a minor in Management, and playing for a Division 2 top five nationally ranked program, while maintaining above a 3.0 GPA, has prepared me for any and all challenges that I may find in my future. The responsibility, work ethic, drive and assets, instilled in me by my parents, have enabled my success as a student and additionally, an athlete. I would like to continue my education, most likely as a biology major, as well as my lacrosse career, at an institution with a successful program and strong academics.
I previously played lacrosse for a club team called the South Jersey Devils 2013 Black during the summer and my high school's team during the spring.
I have received my permission to contact as well as my withdrawal papers.
