Kameryn Hoban '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi and thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Kameryn (Kami) Hoban. I was born and raised in Encinitas, California and have been playing competitive soccer since the age of nine. I am currently completing my sophomore year at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, CA. where my varsity team recently won CIF Open Division and the Division II Southern State Championship. I am a competitive and flexible teammate and I feel my communication and leadership inspires my team to push themselves. I am a team player and always play with a smile on my face and my love for the game is shown every time I step on the field.
Over the years, I have played center and outside midfield, center back, and point forward. My versatility allows me to adapt to new teams      and different coaching styles. I currently play on the Carlsbad United U16  team. On and off the field, I refuse to back down  from any challenges. My competitiveness pushes me to thrive in Honors and AP courses and maintain a 3.5 GPA. I stay busy with many events and clubs on campus. I hold an executive board position with the Thespian Club and I am president of the Best Buddies Club. Apart from school, I am an active member of the National Charity League, a program of moms and daughter dedicated to community service. One of my greatest accomplishments would be achieving my black belt in Tai-Kwon-Do while learning to be disciplined and have integrity.                 
Whether I’m studying in class or competing on the field, I put my whole heart into everything I do. I am committed to being a successful,  hardworking, student- athlete. My goal is to attend a four year college, getting a highly respectable education and degree , while playing college soccer.
