Melissa Almazan '16 Recruiting Profile

I want to attend a college that has a good academic program and a soccer team that communicates well and work together to succeed. From experience I’m able to balance my academics and soccer, considering the fact that I’ve managed to take AP courses and honors classes while staying devoted to the sport. Since the age of 8, I have been passionate about soccer. It has followed me throughout my life and has been a big influence because it’s made me a person who is determined, ambitious, aggressive and social.  I’ve been playing for Hamilton High school’s Varsity soccer since my freshman to senior year as a forward, and since then I’ve become the team captain, a starter and well-known teammate. I want to have a great school experience and major in the field of Biology, but I am still uncertain. Overall, I believe I’d be a great team candidate for a school who is looking for a soccer player who is committed and works hard in academics and soccer.
