Macie Baird '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I started club at age 7 and have played at competitive and high level leagues like Development Academy and ECNL. I am a starting center back with great strength and have excellent field vision. I am great in the air and I'm not afraid to get my head on the ball in any given situation. I am excellent at using my head to clear balls out of the box and am equally as good at scoring off of headers as well. I have a powerful and strong kick. I take free kicks for both my club and high school team. I have great control and poise on the ball. I am skilled at 1v1's and great at reading a players next move. I am also very strong in tackles and blocking shots. Although I am a defensive player, I am not afraid to attack and take the ball up the field.
