My name is Mira Mahmoud and I am a 2022 recruit. I lived most my life in Alberta, Canada and I moved to the US in 2016. Soccer has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. My love for this sport has pushed me to want to improve and possibly even take it to the next level. I believe that my drive and determination puts me above other recruits. I like to think of myself as a leader and someone who always pushes for the best out of my teammates. As a goalkeeper, I know how important it is to be able to use my voice, especially when we are in need of some control of each other on the field. In school, I put in time and effort to make sure each assignment I complete is done to the best of my ability. School is very important to my family and I. My parents have always pushed me to be the best version of myself that I can be. Almost all my classes are advance/AP classes. I am proud to say that they have been going well and I plan to take more next year. I’m very interested in the medical field. I fell in love with the work an orthopedic doctor does after a couple injuries. Having the opportunity to play soccer and study at a school that will help me achieve my goals is my ultimate dream.
