Personal Statement

I have played soccer all of my life and I truly love the game. I would like to continue to play in college and am looking for a school where I can do that while pursuing my education.

I played for Pinecrest Premiere on their blue team (1st team) for 4 years. My primary position was defensive midfielder. On occasion I would play defense when my coach thought he needed my speed in the back. While playing there I also joined the Olympic development program (ODP) where I represented  Florida in Alabama. My family and I moved to Boca in 2017 where I played for the academy, Boca United, (South Florida United). I played there for 2 year. I played Sweeper here because my team needed me to play defense. While there I was invited multiple time to participate in the US training events. Boca lost the academy so I am currently playing at Palm Beach Predators on their DPA team. I again am playing the 6, defensive midfield, where I stand out most.  I also play for my school, Spanish River High school. We have won 13 out of 17 games this season.  I was placed on the first team for all county this year for High school.

In addition to soccer I have also run Cross Country for the past 2 years in High school  and play Flag Football on the school's varsity team. I was awarded defensive MVP last year and also got the high honor of First team all south conference,  in my freshman year. Our team was #2 in the district last season.

Outside of sports I do well in school and maintain a 3.5 average or higher. I also do a lot of community service, I work a bible camp every summer and I am an assistant teacher in a  religious class every Sunday for 5-6th graders. I also participated in a great program last year, Top soccer which I really enjoyed. My schedule this year did not allow for my participation but I look forward to getting involved in the future if I can.

My goal for my career is to become  a teacher or a  nurse. I of course would like to  play soccer for as long as I can and then maybe Coach.

I am a great team player and have been told I am extremely coachable. I think very clearly on the field and always look a few plays ahead. I give 100% to everything I do on the field and never let myself feel defeated. I have achieved many thing through soccer and look forward to much more, hopefully in the future with your program.
