I wanted to write a statement to let potential soccer programs get to know me a little better. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I have a deep passion for the game and really enjoy my time on the field and all the preparation that goes in to being ready to perform. For most of my seasons since the age of ten, I have always been playing on two teams and practicing with both. At age 12, I was asked by the Director of the ECNL to join the team for the next season, but due to the fact that my mom had recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and my dad travels for work as an airline pilot, we all decided that we should hold off on a heavy travel schedule. This may have hurt my chances of making ECNL teams sooner again, but I have no regrets as the time spent helping my mom recover was priceless. I have always had a deep love of a lot of sports, but a special place for soccer as I have developed lifelong friendships from this great game.
I am very loyal to each team that I am on, and I will always give 100 percent effort. Currently, I am playing High School Soccer and Basketball simultaneously, and my grades for second quarter were all A's with one B. I also just got inducted into the National Honor Society. I know there are a lot of girls competing to play soccer at the collegiate level, but I am confident in my abilities and attitude to compete, succeed and continue to improve under your guidance. Additionally, I was just informed from my High School coach that I was selected to the All Conference team for my second year. We are also competing in the FHSAA State Tournament this year.
Thank you for your interest,
Sincerely,
Kindree Harper Sullivan
