Being able to make my school's Varsity Soccer team my sophomore year was a huge step in my soccer career. It taught me that hard work and having a strong mind set can get you where you want to be. Not only did I get onto the team that year, I was able to score a goal when I started in my first game. We were able to take home the title of District Champions too. Unfortunately, this passing season was a struggle for me, I worked really hard before and during the season but didn't see the play time I had worked so hard for. But I have a good mind set and work ethic. I use that same work ethic in my academics to maintain a 3.8 GPA and trained and competed in the Miss Fletcher pageant and never missed a soccer training session. I've been working even harder for my senior season. I believe I'm a good leader because giving up isn't an option, I'll drag my team by the ears if I have to, to keep them going. That's why I've been my club season's captain multiple times. I want to become close with my furture school's team and the coaches like a family and play some soccer, but I also want to have fun studying in my major and enjoy my college experience.
