Personal Statement

Soccer has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old. My passion for the game quickly evolved and I started playing club soccer when I was 8. The game of soccer has taught me leadership, commitment and teamwork throughout the past 8 years. Playing multiple sports growing up, I have always worked hard for each one but soccer has always had a special place in my heart and I knew that's what I wanted to do. Through hard work and determination I have become a leader on and off the field.

As a goalkeeper, I have to work harder than everyone else on and off the field so I won't let me team down. All of my coaches have told me what a leader I am and how I need to keep working as hard as I do so I can become the best of the best. I have the focus and drive to become a better player everyday and I aspire to be a college athlete as a goalkeeper in the near future.
