Daniella Streety '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Daniella Streety and I am currently a senior at Maclay High School in Tallahassee, FL. I started soccer when I was twelve-years- old and instantly I fell in love with it and grew a passion for it. When I was thirteen, I realized I aspired  to be a collegiate athlete in soccer. Ever since, I've worked hard to make this dream a reality. Currently, I play as goalkeeper; however, I have experience at various other positions such as attacking/ defensive midfield and forward. As a previous field player, this has helped me understand the game better at different positions on the field and I have great touches on the ball. Additionally, I am explosive, aggressive, and fearless in the net with a great eye to be able to tell where the ball is going.  Lastly, I am a coachable player who takes accountability for my mistakes and learns from constructive criticism. I also enjoy being challenged!

My aspiration is to attend a great college that is able to best suit me academically and athletically. I am determined to be a better player and student each day because want to be able to reach my full potential. I like to push others on when I can and always try to be welcoming to new people, whether it is a new classmate or a new teammate. In addition, I have grown up in a competitive environment at school; therefore, I always strive to win and be better in all aspects. 

 I am honest, respectful, and open-minded to each person I know and meet. Loyalty, hard work, and commitment are three of my most valued characteristics. Once I commit myself to something, whether it is an extra academic course, a club, or even playing for two soccer teams, a weightlifting team, and  a track team, I make it a priority to make it work under any circumstances.
