My name is Celeste Nader and I would like to play D1 soccer in college. Soccer is my passion - I give 100% on the field and am a good teammate. I play center midfield (attacking and holding) for my club team and I am very calm and make good decisions on the ball. I carry the ball up the field to get us chances on goal and if there are no good options in front of me then I will look for an outlet to keep possession. I try to direct the play and help my teammates move the ball well and encourage them.
I started on my high school varsity team as a freshman last year. I played attacking mid and we made it to quarterfinals of the state playoffs. High school soccer was a lot of fun, but I wanted to prepare myself to play in college so I switched to DA this year. I really like the level of competition in DA and the girls on my new team. It is hard work, but I know it will pay off for me in college.
I would love to find a career after college that allows me to be outside. My parents both served as US Army officers and I am thinking about that, but I am also interested in law enforcement, or working for the CIA, or another federal agency. My family is from Germany and I am taking German in school. I would love to work overseas after college.
