I am a team player and a good sport. I love the game of soccer and understand that even though its competitive, its still fun. I understand that everyone can make mistakes but its always a team effort whether you win or you lose. In my experience with soccer I've realized that although the game of soccer is very important in its own, the most important part is having positive relationships with your teammates. My goal is not only to play college soccer and make friendships that will last a long time, but to become a teacher. Ever since I was little I've enjoyed helping others and teaching people things, whether its school related or just life related. My love for teaching also translates onto the soccer field because I like to take a leadership role on my team. I like to encourage cooperation between my teammates while bringing a positive energy to the field. In all the sports I have played I've learned that being receptive to the coaches directions not only helps me improve as an individual but helps the team become more successful. I've enjoyed creating positive relationships with my coaches and I've learned a lot from them over the 12 years I've been playing soccer.
