Bethany Ducat '23 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college are to get a high quality education in the major that I want, as well as be able to play soccer for a high quality collegiate soccer program and welcoming, intelligent, encouraging, loving, dedicated, hardworking, and talented team. I am looking for a team that is dedicated to succeeding and improving, and will consistently and always work hard to their fullest extent and always give 100% effort. I believe that if a team does not have good camaraderie and relationships with each other, they will not be able to reach their highest level of play and be the best team they can be. When a team grows to love each other and push each other on and off the field, encourage each other, and become a family, that is when things will begin to come together on the field and the team will start to succeed. That being said, I would be a good candidate for a college program, on and off the field, in and out of the classroom, due to my loving and caring heart, perseverance and determination to never give up, my focus in the classroom and on the field, and my skills as a soccer player. I believe that I am different from other recruits due to my well-roundedness; I am involved in many different activities outside of sports that have made me into the person that I am. I believe that my attitude and coachability in and out of the classroom and on the field really stands out. When given a critique or comment, I always listen and then apply that change. As for in the classroom, I believe that I am a great student who constantly pays attention, does their work with effort, asks questions, and submits quality work, and always turns things in on time.
