I played youth soccer in elementary school and loved it, but didn't have the opportunity to play in middle school, because I was very involved in my dance career. As a Freshman, I was a member of the national runner-up Leavenworth High School Junior ROTC Raider team. Because of a delay for COVID, I missed soccer tryouts while I was in Georgia for nationals. As a sophomore, I focused on academics, cheer, and played soccer for the first time in 6 years. I realized that I had been missing something that I really always loved. I'm raw as a soccer player, but passionate, and made the varsity squad my freshman year. I aim to start as a Junior.
I am a leader who cares about other people deeply. I have led my peers in multiple organizations, to include girl scouts, Junior ROTC as a raider and a squad leader, as a junior varsity cheer captain, and hope to be a leader on my soccer team as a Junior and Senior.
I am looking to pursue a degree in education, because I also have a passion for children. I have a younger sister with special needs that I help take care of and enjoy seeing her learn and develop. I am inspired by my mother and grandmother, both of whom have made education their lifelong passions. I would like to continue to play soccer at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in education, hopefully earning an athletic scholarship in the process.
