Imani Gaines '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. I started off as a field player and a couple years later I find myself playing in goal and falling in love with it. I am aspired to play at a collegiate level.
I am quick with my hands and have strong legs to kick the ball far enough. I am a leader to my team and try to push everyone to do their best. You'll be surprised the crazy things I do in goal to save the ball.
In the classroom, I study hard and try to make the grades I need in order to pass. In the areas I'm weak at I'll spend a little more time on it until I get it right.
I want to go to a college I would do good in class and also do good on the soccer fields. I know it's hard to get a college letter for a sport and I would be blessed if I had the opportunity to play on a women soccer team. I'm not only doing this for myself, but I'm also doing this for my parents who never gave up on me and my peers, coaches who always pushed me.
