I aim to attend a college where I will be challenged and grow as a student and an athlete. I am a hardworking athlete that goes after what I want with focus, effort, and persistence. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and playing soccer at the college level has been my lifelong goal. I strive to achieve good grades and develop my game to reach that goal. I think my positive attitude, competitiveness, speed, ability to read the field and make good decisions during a game, and coach-ability have always been my greatest strengths. I am committed, the entire game, to help my team win and always encourage my teammates. I motivate my teammates with confidence and reassurance, pushing them to be the best they can be on and off the field. If you were to ask my teammates or coaches to describe me, some words they would use would be conscientious, leader, determined, and composed under pressure. In the pressure of games, I support my teammates by getting them to loosen up, regroup, and pull together. As captain of my club team for 5 years now, I take my responsibilities seriously. I want our entire team to feel that we are making a difference, communicating and working side-by-side to reach our goals of development and success as a team. I am a diligent student and a driven athlete, even when the tasks are challenging.
