Mia Sodano '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mia Sodano, and I am a 2024 goalkeeper from Elon, NC.  I am currently the starting varsity goalkeeper for Western Alamance High school and have played with the TUSA DPL Gold 06 team for the past two years. With TUSA, we made it to NC state cup and won the semifinals game in a PK shootout in addition to posting 13 shutouts combined in both the DPL and NC play.  My reaction time, leadership, positivity and teammate support, resilience, ability to learn from mistakes, ability to position my defensive line/positioning of teammates, and my high coachability are all strengths that I bring to the team.  I am an all honors student with a weighted GPA of 4.458 and an unweighted GPA of 4.00.  I have aspirations of being a chemistry/biology major and would love to play soccer while pursuing my academics into college. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and right from that moment I fell in love with the game. My goal is to continue spreading my love for the game through college soccer.
