Kate Crawford '13 Recruiting Profile

I have always been a very ambitious person and have always strived to do my best. I love to help people in every way that I can and I hope that one day I can use my skills and knowledge to become a surgeon to potentially save people's lives and help them.  I observed surgery at a hospital and it made me want to become a surgeon even more. I volunteer at a nursing home and enjoy helping the elderly with their needs.  I am a hard worker and know I can accomplish my dreams. School has always been important to me and I have always given 100% effort into making sure I did well. My grades show the great amount of effort that I truly have put in through the years. I want to find the right college where I can go into pre-med, as well as play soccer. Soccer has been a part of my life since I was 4 years old. I used to play just about every sport, but there is something about soccer; it is the one that I chose to continue with beyond high school, and even in high school. Soccer was the only sport I played my junior year but I played year round; I decided to dedicate all of my time to it because it is something that I truly enjoy and am extremely passionate about.  I hope that the right college will notice my abilities, as well as how much I want to play  and continue on with my soccer career.
