Hey I’m Maddie Smolenski, I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I love this game! I am a 4.25 GPA student in the class of 2024 looking for the opportunity to continue my soccer career in college being challenged both athletically and academically. I play outside back on the Olentangy Berlin High School Varsity Soccer team and in Club Soccer, I play center back and attacking midfield on Club Ohio’s 2006 Green 1 National team - playing in National League PRO and top levels of GLC in US Youth Soccer. I've been fortunate to compete and win a national championship in 2021 with US Club Soccer and in the same year come in #3 in the country for USYS. The commitment, dedication and challenge cemented my desire to continue my career. In 2022, some changes came to our club team requiring some adjustments. My coach moved me back and forth from center back to attacking midfield to help the team better compete. I am proud that I was able to help us put some more points on the scoresheet and help secure us a spot back in USYS Midwest Regionals and National League P.R.O. this past season. Looking forward to this season and the opportunities it will bring!
