Personal Statement

Hi! I'm Keegan White and I'm committed to playing at the highest competition level. I want to be an impact to a team in college. I want to contribute to the success of a team. I played left back for my club team, the Reading Rage. I have been with the club since I was 8. I have bought into their philosophy of developing the player over time. My club team has been quite successful the past few years. We are two time EPYSA President's Cup Champs, Region I Champs '11, runner up in '12 and participated in the National Finals of the President's in Iowa ('11). We also qualified for the '11 Super Y finals in Florida. I started in all of these games- taking the corners and free kicks on the right side of the field (I'm a lefty). From the Spring of 2013- 2014, I played with the Reading RAGE '95 team playing up an age group. We were EPYSA State Cup Champs and participated in the region one tournament going undefeated but did not advance to Nationals. Starting June 2014, I began to play with the RAGE Blackhawks '96 team. Currently ranked #1 in the State. I play left mid for this team.

I transferred to my local public school for my senior year. I have stepped in and made an immediate impact, starting at center mid. I believe one of my strengths is my leadership ability. I am a leader of my high school team. I take all corners and free kicks. I am also a varsity starter for the girls basketball team as point guard. That sport also puts me in a leadership position directing the offense.

I want to find a team that is the best fit for me. I have goals set for myself and will work hard to get stronger, quicker, and technically better so that I will reach my goals.
